The Process of Volunteering with WWOOF or Personal Sustainable Farming

To get connected with WWOOF, you must first purchase a membership (each membership is good for one year) and then the process is easy- simply look through the directory of farms looking for volunteers, find the right fit, contact them, and book a date to volunteer and stay.

Although sustainable agriculture can be practiced through WWOOF volunteer opportunities, you can practice it on your own individual level. Many communities are constantly looking for volunteers and assistance in community gardens or local farms! Simply research your area and see who's around and contact them! In addition, personal gardens are always an option!
